You took a class, or read a book, got BPI or HERS Rater certified, or just bought some diagnostic equipment. Your company was heading in the right direction in the beginning, but NOW WHAT? Hello Corbett,

The typical model for whole house performance contracting in California places the owner of the General B Contractor license in charge of project management. Does your company, and are you aware of other smaller companies, use a model that places the energy auditor-rater in the project manager position, much like an interior decorator will sell the job and design benefits, get the job, and then sub-contract his/her preferred tradespeople to complete the work to the high level of standard they envision? I am interested to find successful examples of small sized (1 - 3) energy professional diagnosticians that have  businesses that sell the assessment service and vision for improvements, and then hire and manage the entire whole house upgrade project.
