News for 2016! I have invented a thermostat for whole house fans that can be used on any installed fan. As you know, whole house fans should not be automatically started because there is no way to know if return air is available in the form of, usually, open windows. So my thermostat does not start working until the fan is turned on by the homeowner. Then it senses the home temperature and automatically turns the fan off when the temperature falls to the set point desired. More info at invisco dot com
