I am specifying IR thermography combined with a blower door test for renovation of a government-owned dormitory in California (Nat'l Park Service). What are the current test standards for thermography? I'm looking at GSA standard specs, which indicate ASTM C1060 (2011a) and ISO 6781 (1983). Are these still current? Does anyone practicing in California actually use these? For the blower door, I am listing Energy Code RA3.8 as an acceptable test protocol (alternate to US Army COE protocol). Is there an equivalent "local" test protocol for IR thermography? I want to specify a reference standard that the local HERS raters would be familiar with, and competent in. Thanks!
