Does anyone have any experience utilizing utility data from Green Button Connect? I've used the Green Button where the customer downloads their data and provides it, but what about Connect where the customer grants access to contractors without having to do the dirty work?

Yes, we (HEA.com) have been using various Green Button Connect services since 2012 from utilities like PG&E, SCE, SDG&E, Ontario Hydro and "Smart Meter Texas". The standard is not consistently implemented, and it has been a bit of a nightmare. Happily there are third parties that will do the dirty work for you, and that's what I'd recommend... companies like UtilityAPI an UrjaNet.

Hi Steve. We chatted before.  Are you supporting SDGE Territory these days?  Is anyone in residential space supporting SDGE?

Hi Will. We support UnplugStuff.com for SDGE, but it uses their original FTP-based Green Button Connect service first introduced in 2012. They have a newer OAuth-based service that we've tried to integrate with our Dr Power app, but without success. AFAIK, UtilityAPI is the only company that has successfully integrated to this new service.
