Any suggestions / ideas on efficient ways to transport blower doors? Tips you've used?

  • Check in luggage vs. shipping
  • If shipping, UPS vs Fedex vs. others (cost, ease of drop off / pick up)
  • Differences between Retrotec vs. TEC (covers/cases)
  • Aftermarket covers / cases
  • Hard cover vs cloth

The TEC case works really well. Very sturdy cardboard-like material with foam corners. I think it cost @ $100 to ship via UPS from CA to their headquarters. I've saved the case for future use.
