A puzzling observation in general.

Why with thousands of tests performed on common stick-frame walls via ASTMe283 and the fact that thousands of those samples display the same poor results that common walls leak air like a faucet without a washer.

Why has nothing been done to stop air from entering and exiting the insulation cavity? *Besides Spray Foam, Isn't this air intrusion depleting R values and not allowing builders to comply with new energy codes?  Is Building Science only to discover problems and not to offer ways of fixing them?

Nice meet and greet video. Sorry to hear Victors reply about jobs and interest. Unfortunately, it isn't a Canadian thing. Although we have a growing movement for Home Performance here, it isn't where i feel it should be....at the forefront!

Finally another Canadian. We as Canadians have some harsh weather too, however no one up here seems to care about having an energy efficient home. The federal government is more concerned to keep the oil companies going and nothing to do with helping Canadians save money or energy. I spent four years at college to learn how to make a house efficient but no one cares. The government has given money to colleges to teach kids but delivers no interest in the field they want to go, meaning zero jobs when they graduate. Thanks so much Pierre, sorry Justin. Think I might seek asylum in the US.there is interest, hell maybe a job.
