Passive House interest

We have several passive house inspired projects in the planning stage in New Hampshire.

As usual with some folks in the business, I am going to build my own net zero home. That way I don't have to sell or compromise on the important points and construction methods with folks who think they have the answer or don't think the details are important.

In doing quality control work in new construction with the established conventional builders, the passive house influences and advice seem to be ignored and disparaged.

There are buildings being constructed that offer the promise of a healthy house with low energy use and reasonably priced, durable construction.
