As we near the 1000-member mark, we can all revel at the high level of member engagement: 94 Blog entries, 79 Forum posts, 372 photos, 66 videos, 25 topical groups, a coast-to-coast Events calendar with something happening almost every day .... and hundreds of posts in response to these items. Even more impressive than the sheer numbers is the super-high quality of the members' contributions.

All this in only 90 days.

It's a good moment to reach out and invite all of you to weigh in about what's working, what isn't, and what new features or functionality you'd like to see.  We'll read each and every reply to this post and fold your feedback into our future planning for Home Energy Pros.  Here are some of the things you might want to share your thoughts on:

  • Are the Guidelines for engagement clear, complete, and sensible?
  • Are there any major new modules you'd like to see in addition to Training, Events, Videos, Photos?
  • Are the ways we're accommodating commercialism (through topical groups, like News & Announcements, HEP Member Discounts, and Job Board doing the trick?
  • Any key Group topics missing?
  • Too much/little correspondence from us?
  • Any other suggestions you may have....

Let us know what you think, and don't pull any punches!

We look forward to your feedback.

Thanks,

~ Evan Mills & the rest of the Home Energy Pros team

Sounds like something we can add to the Training area on this site.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Gary,

I outsmarted myself: note that the link is actually there already.

More materials on these four particular certifications are here.

"to a large extent, this is just more of our Government taking over and running our industry."

How so?  Please elaborate, Gary.

I would like to invite all of the Pros here to write one blog about one strategy you have used in your home to save time, energy, money, resources and/or frustration. This includes experiences that turned out to be disasterous. You learn the most from those, right? Anyway, I'm interested in engaging, entertaining, first-person accounts that will allow other homeowners to benefit from your experience and your expertise. But it has to be YOUR Home! If you are interested, please contact me at Trish@greenspirationhome.com. I am happy to share the blog links with the members here and authors can have a link back to their own website and a short bio.

Count me in as a firm advocate!

I just ( minutes ago) posted some equipment for sale.  When does it show up on page and does is show up based on date posted?  When you have a chance,  thank you.  Andy Courts courts@ncenergypartners.com
