Does anyone have any recommendations for a residential insulation blower?  We currently use an InsulMaxx 5000, and we've been pretty happy, but I feel like it's overkill for most of our applications.  We're usually blowing 1500-1800 lbs of celllulose per hour, and I'd prefer a 110 V service capacity to minimize generator usage.  Any brands that stand out in terms of performance and reliability?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi,

Rent a Cellulose Insulation Blower from your local Home Depot. Get more information about rental pricing, product details via contacting the professionals. Would like to recommend you to contact Cameron Home Insulation for best information.

Thanks

Most rental machines will not put out the minimum required pressure for dense-packing. There are some local lumber yards in our area that do have such machines and they are maintained and seals replaced as needed to provide that minimum pressure.

Most generator are more efficiency at 240 volt.   Its  about the total watts more than just volts.    I have been using older insulation blower and rebuilding them.   The wireless controls are good,  New blowers are lower weight than my old steel tank.   How much do you use the blower then use a cost vs value to seek payback?

We have been using the Intec Force II for almost 10 years. It only takes about 1 1/2 bags at a time, but we have a good setup in a 16 ft. cargo trailer. We use the wireless remote, augmented with a CB antenna to give us more distance than the 100 ft. corded control can. We put large wheels on it and have occasionally wheeled it closer to a project where we cannot get the trailer. With periodic maintenance, it has been dependable and still puts out more than the required pressure to properly dense-pack.
