Event Description

Heating, cooling and water heating make up the greatestenergy load in a building. Geothermal energy systems canefficiently address these energy loads in both residential andcommercial projects. In order to achieve maximum efficiency, however, it is important to design and install the entire systemcorrectly.

We'll cover water to air systems for space conditioning; water to water systems for domestic water heating, pool heating, radiant floor heating or other hydronic heating and cooling requirements; and split geothermal/dual fuel systems for space conditioning.

Learn about the different types of ground loop systems and their installation using International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) standards, software programs to do the loop design and calculate potential energy savings, AHRI rating process and start up/commissioning of the system.
