Event Description

The BPI Building Analyst Certification class is the most convenient way to get certified by BPI and start offering home energy audits! Aligned with the Building Performance Institute's (BPI) Building Analyst Professional standards for energy auditing, this class provides a fundamental understanding of the whole-house approach to analyzing efficient and proper energy consumption, in addition to checking for health hazards, proper ventilation, understanding HVAC equipment operations and maintenance, and how to interact with clients when providing home energy audits. This is a 40-hour training program delivered over the course of 5 days (3 days in classroom, 2 days on-site). Both the written and field exams for BPI certification are administered as part of the workshop.
